OAGIS Business Object Documents
This course covers the Open Applications Group Business Object Documents (or BODs). It describes the BOD verbs, including when and how to use them. BOD and Noun ID usage is explained as well as Data Methodology.
HR-XML Common Components
This course reviews the scope and deliverables of the HR-XML standards. It includes discussion of the 3.X architecture and focuses in detail on common HR-XML data types. XML declarations are also explained.
This course discusses the history and structure of DTD and Schema. It delves into the data types, shows how to use imports and exports, explains name spaces, when to use global and local components, and covers different coding methods and common validation errors.
Complete Basic Courses
Complete 2 out of the 3 HR Open Standards Basic Courses: XML Basics, HR-XML Common Components, and OAGI Business Object Documents. You must score 70% or higher for each course.
Complete Domain Course(s)
Complete 1 of the specialized domain courses for your respective area of specialization. Current specializations include: Assessments, Recruiting, and Screening. You must score 70% or higher for your domain course.
Provide Work Experience
Demonstrate work experience on standards project or implementation (live implementation projects and school projects will be considered). *Must include LinkedIn profile in certificate application for work experience review.
Upon completing the above criteria, an individual can submit an application for their HR Open individual certificate. The certificate application costs $99 and includes review for one domain. Additional domain applications are $29 per domain. If approved, you will receive a certificate of proficiency and a badge for proud display on LinkedIn, resumes, and personal websites and/or promotional material.
